Street Style Aren’t Only For the Youth

We all know that most kids are street urchins, we know this because perhaps when we too were in our teenage years of angst and trouble, we were hanging out on the streets wearing something that would make us look cool and perhaps even unique to get the right kind of attention with a statement “you don’t want to mess with me”. Times have changed and the teens today have a different style now and so are the older the generation of people.

Street style aren’t just for the kids who would sometimes make pranks around the corner in order to amuse themselves but the older generation too of adult men and women have always been into street fashion.
Believe it or not, the mere routine of walking from one place to another can be a form of fashion statement – that is, if you are wearing the right outfit.

It was Japan that started the movement with street style with diverse and jaw-dropping designs and looks for the street. Kids there aren’t abashed whether they would attract the wrong attention and the wild fashion available may sometimes be found quirky, juvenile and cute at the same time.

All over the world, men and women would dress up and show their taste in clothing out there on the street regardless of their age. Today, you can see women in elegant clothing down to the funky carefree clothes available to show their style down the street. Even men won’t be left behind and they too have come up with their own style, fusing hip-hop and male sensitivity all in one, of course, to attract the right attention.

Street fashion has always been a movement, a sort of free-style fashion for everyone who can walk down the street or roll down it. It doesn’t discriminate and has no weigh issues that can qualify you or disqualify you with the clothing you would like to wear. It is in short, a freedom for people who are in love with style and aren’t afraid to show their personality.
People through this are finding ways on how to express their emotions and their personality to the world. Their funkiness is often noticed by the way they wear an item or what sort of clothing they prefer. While others who are uptight can easily be spotted with firm clothing and shiny shoes. It really all depends on your style, go ahead, show the streets!
