Although a lot of people aren’t concerned about what they wear on the streets, there are those who would die if they don’t have the perfect pair of shoes that would go with their outfit. The thing is you don’t have to worry about that. Creativity is a gift that a lot of us are blessed and for those who are creative enough with their outfits and fashion statements, nothing will ever faze them even if they don’t have the perfect shoes.
Statement in fashion is important as this is what the boys at the ghetto use. Statements like “You don’t want to come near this place or even mess with me or my homies!” really speak louder when expressed in fashion, good for the eyes too instead of just screaming it to people passing by.
The ghetto have been a place for the Latinos and African-Americans where they grew up and guard as well from the outside force in order to protect their families. Their style was brandished with heavy blings in gold and silver around their necks and fingers. Their baggy shirts and jeans were a staple, showing a laidback beat and an always on-the-go pair of rubber shoes helps mobility around their area of territory. They would also carry a boom-box or what they call a “ghetto blaster” on their shoulders. It marked the unmistakable style of ghetto but this was in the 80s. Things have changed greatly since then and people are getting their own style or whatever they want to portray.
Dressing up can also be quite expensive but street style takes notice of flea markets and takes advantage of bargains, it is a style that has no qualms about designer brands and expensive status items.
But what if dressing up in a style that you want can help you gain a few goodies like handbags and maybe even the perfect pair of shoes?
